This project was designed with a clear goal: to create a classic, traditional kitchen that feels warm, cohesive, and quietly refined. The starting point was the colour palette. Sandersons Green Grotto brings depth and softness, while Farrow & Ball Wimborne White keeps the space light and open. Together, they set a calm foundation that doesn’t overwhelm the room. From there, the worktop became the key unifying element. The GT Lavender surface was chosen for its ability to tie everything together. Its natural variation complements both the painted cabinetry and the oak flooring, bridging cool and warm tones in a way that feels effortless. The 30mm thickness and ogee edge add a subtle sense of craftsmanship without feeling overly ornate. We carried this material through to the full splash backs and pantry worktop to maintain visual continuity and avoid unnecessary breaks in the design. Fixtures and fittings were selected with the same mindset. Brushed nickel finishes, including the Quooker Classic tap and Armac Jefferson hardware, bring a soft, traditional touch that sits comfortably within the scheme. The Shaws Classic double sink reinforces the heritage feel while remaining practical for everyday use. Overall, this is a space designed to age well. Nothing feels forced or over-designed. Every element works together to create a kitchen that is as functional as it is quietly elegant.

This project centres around 30mm Sensa Taj Mahal Mirage quartzite, used across the worktops and full-height splashbacks to create a soft, natural flow through the space.
